Rock Creek Nursery - Growing Customer Satisfaction
Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation has been in the nursery business since the 1960’s. Today Smurfit-Stone operates Rock Creek Nursery, which is located south of Brewton, Alabama. Rock Creek Nursery produces containerized longleaf pine, genetically superior pine seedlings, and over 20 species of hardwoods for forest landowners from Florida to Louisiana.
Smurfit-Stone is a member of the highly respected nursery cooperative at Auburn University. This provides the experienced staff at Rock Creek Nursery access to the latest techniques and practices in the forest nursery business, including precision seed sowing, fertilization, pruning, and weed and pest control. Our healthy, well-balanced seedlings give our customers confidence that they will be planting a quality tree with good survival and genetically superior growth, form and disease resistance.
